Micros landscapes of the ephemeral
It was during a one-month stay in India at Kanchippuram, Kattaikkuttu Sangam, within the framework of the FAIAR that we observed, Raphael and I, the particular bond that the Indians maintain with the patterns drawn.
After sharing the daily life of the inhabitants around the school for several days, the ritual of the Kolam * appeared to us as a simple and playful medium to communicate with the children. On the principle of this daily art we have initially experimented informally with them small landscape installations.
Following this first conclusive stage we decided with the director and the director to propose a workshop at the entry of the ground of their future new school "Punjai".
The challenge of this workshop was to start writing the first page of a common history within a collective landscape work from personal and ephemeral compositions. An original way of being together and humbly offering a soul to the Punjai.
